It's been such a looong time. I so enjoy reading other's blogs to writing my own. But I do like to keep up a little. So, the last two months....

- Found out I was pregnant shortly after Thanksgiving
- Followed a week or so later by the WORST pregnancy sickness I have ever experienced, and at 13weeks has yet to go away.
- Then we moved in the middle of November on the coldest weekend of the season so far. (Just within town, to a little house with a yard!!!)

Needless to say my days have been so much more about survival then living. They still feel that way a bit as we come out of a family bout of the stomach flu that hit the whole Mom's group I am in. Hubby and I got it way worse then the kids and now I think I am feeling better but the pregnancy just picks up where the flu left off.
I go between excitement and struggle between loving that we are having another baby to feeling like I physically am just not going to make it, and I feel my entire family has suffered. My relationship with God has been weak at best so that has not helped of course.

T and I are still struggling as I try to ascertain his changing needs. It is hard when he is just so challenging these days and S is just SO easy and fun all the time. I have to really work to make sure that one is not getting all the negative attention and the other all the positive. Anyway, lots of great pleas for wisdom from my Heavenly Father, and prayer for grace. Oh how parenting shows us our need for grace.

We moved into a house, all one level, with a partly fenced back yard, and T LOVES going out to play in the snow. He is happy playing by himself for long periods of time and sometimes I go out and play with him if S is napping. We built the coolest snow fort the other day. It makes my heart happy though every time I watch him out the window with his broom, shovel and a few boxes, and know how good it is for him and how not possible this would have been if we were still in the apt.

I am not sure I could have survived the last month and a half without my mom's group. Meals, words of encouragement, people taking the kids for the morning, it has just all been amazing and I have never met so many woman in one place with such hearts to serve and give and offer of themselves, even if it is just a kind word or a loaf of bread. God knew how much I would need this group this year and I PRAISE him for them all!!! Not to mention that the discussions are always thought provoking!

We are trying to make the most of this Christmas season but I am finding I have to take small steps and I don't have a lot in me for all kinds of things. I finally sat down and made a list of a few things that I for sure want to try and do with the kids and we will just plug away at it. I would love to do a popcorn string for the tree with Theo this week, so we should see.

So this is disjointed, but I was getting tired of always seeing my last update from the beginning of October. That felt like years ago. So that is a bit of a nutshell of the last few months. Happy Christmas to all you out there in blog world.
